Artist Statement and Background 

Many people possess the gift that allows them to create an art form from an image. If you happen to be one of these individuals, I believe you a have a responsibility to develop your talent. I have endeavored to preserve a permanent record of scenes I respect.

My painting represent special places I have lived near and have been a part of my life. Some scenes include past sailboat racing on the Finger Lakes, historic old buildings, vineyards and interesting subjects from around the world.

All work of upstate New York contain a nostalgic flavor that invokes warm memories of the rustic country life found in New York's finger Lakes region. rich tonal values combined with vibrant energy, is not difficult to capture given the endless changing seasons.

Recently, voyaging by boat along the Carolinas colorful waterway has provided additional resources for new painting added to this site.

A visit to this site will illustrate a variety of styles, classic and contemporary. We offer reproductions printed on high quality Kodak paper, mounted on a foam core backing ready for framing.
